Our Annual Appeal

Support Inclusive Programs that champion brothers like Daniel and Michael

A Message From Our Associate Director, Chessy Stufano

At BINA Farm Center, we provide services for children and adults of all ages. These individuals with and without disabilities participate in therapeutic and recreational activities. It can be more challenging for adults to find welcoming communities who can fulfill their needs, but it is just as important for adults to feel a sense of belonging and support in reaching their goals.

This year in our Annual Appeal we introduce you to two special siblings; participant Daniel and his brother Michael, who volunteers to support Daniel in his clinical treatment sessions. At 25 years old, Daniel is adult size, therefore, his treatment sessions require a team approach - one therapist and four volunteers, including his brother Michael. Michael’s words of encouragement, “one more step buddy”, “nice job Daniel” as he assists Daniel in taking each supported step up the ramp to the chair lift are an invaluable tool in helping Daniel achieve his goals. For at the top of the ramp, Daniel’s favorite horse, Halo, is waiting to give him a ride.

This year, we ask you to support our annual giving initiative to ensure we can continue to offer inclusive quality programs so that individuals of all ages and abilities can have a positive transformative experience at our center.

On behalf of our team, thank you!
Chessy Stufano
